Wedding Weekend Getaway

We stayed 2 nights and loved everything about the house! The drive was beautiful and the property was absolutely amazing! I wish we would have been able to spend more time at the cabin as we were at the wedding venue 90% of the time, but the time we were able to relax there was much needed. We will definitely be back!

Serene Getaway

What a lovely cabin! We enjoyed the beauty, peace and quiet of the property and surrounding countryside. And, the cabin was so cute! Everything was functional, including a well-stocked kitchen and a beautiful fireplace and lovely hot tub. What a fabulous getaway!

Kind and caring owner

I cannot say enough good things about the owner of this cabin. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my stay due to an unexpected and severe case of poison ivy. Even though I wasn't able to enjoy the cabin, the owner went above and beyond to help me obtain my reimbursement from my travel insurance. The owner was kind and patient, helping me with every step, even though it had nothing to do with them. That's something you don't see in many people these days. The point is that the owner genuinely cares about the guests and is a very kind person. I look forward to rebooking in the future when I can enjoy this beautiful cabin and the hospitality that comes with it. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a very nice cabin in an ideal spot. There are many fun activities nearby. The cabin was very clean and a nice layout. We would like to come back in the warmer months to enjoy it.

Wedding

I got married on July 6, 2024. My bridesmaids and I stayed Friday night, and then my husband and I stayed Sat. And Sun. We all had an amazing time! The cabin was quiet and secluded and gave us everything we needed to enjoy our newly wedded bliss. We hope to return in the near future!

Peaceful wooded escape

This was our second visit to the cabin and it was wonderful! We love to cook together in the open concept kitchen. The new coffee/ tea bar area is a fantastic addition to the overall vibe of the cabin. We relaxed on the couch for evening movies. Soaked in the hot tub and listened to the birds. Drank coffee on the porch and watched the squirrels every morning. All in complete uninterrupted peace. Melanie is close by if you need anything but gives you absolute privacy. Odds are you won't need a thing because this cabin has it all.

Perfect weekend

We celebrated our engagment and the calm before the storm of wedding plannin. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for! It was so quiet and Tranquil. Surrounded by trees and nature. We had complete privacy and space from the outside world to just be able to soak everything up and take some time for ourselves. The cabin was so clean, well stocked, and the host was more then helpful and ready to answer any needs or questions we had through our stay. We will 100% be recommending this to all of our friends and family looking for a get away and look forward to planning our next trip through them!

Quiet Getaway

We stayed over Christmas weekend to have a nice, relaxing holiday and it was perfect. Melanie has everything in the cabin you could possibly need and then some. Very clean and well taken care off. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Our favorite parts were the great fireplace with wood provided and the back porch bed where we listened to the rain.
